DULUTH, Ga. - Atlanta Gladiators President Jerry James and Head Coach Jeff Pyle announced that defenseman Tim Davison has agreed to terms for the 2021-22 season.
Davison, 27, is entering his fourth full professional season and his first with the Gladiators. The De Pere, Wisconsin native tabbed 11 points (1g-10a) in 29 games between the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and the Indy Fuel last season.
In the 2019-20 season, Davison played 46 games and recorded 19 points (2g-17a) with the Aalborg Pirates in Denmark’s Metal Ligaen. The blueliner posted a strong offensive season as a rookie in 2018-19 and led the South Carolina Stingrays’ defensive unit with 30 points (4g-26a).
Prior to turning pro, Davison played in 133 games at the University of Wisconsin. He was named Wisconsin’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner and the team’s Jeff Sauer Award recipient for his involvement in the community as a redshirt senior during the 2017-18 season.
