Thomas re-signs with Fuel

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks and the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs, announced that they have re-signed forward Jared Thomas to a contract for the 2021-22 season.

Thomas joined the Fuel prior to the 2020-21 season via a trade with the Tulsa Oilers and Florida Everblades. The 27-year-old skated in 59 games last year registering 38 points (9g-29a). Thomas enters his fourth pro season with 160 ECHL games under his belt, tallying 134 points (37g-97a).

Prior to turning pro, Thomas played four years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he appeared in 163 games, earning 60 points (21g-39a). During his senior season, Thomas tallied 26 points (11g-15a), helping the team to an NCAA National Championship.
