Troock signs with Americans

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announced that the team has signed forward Branden Troock for the 2021-22 season.

Troock spent time between the American Hockey League and ECHL during the 2019-20 campaign, notching five points (3g-2a) in 11 games with the Cleveland Monsters and combining for 23 points (11g-12a) in 23 ECHL games with South Carolina and Toledo.

Selected by the Dallas Stars in the fifth round (134th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Troock played parts of three seasons with the AHL's Texas Stars from 2014-17. He has also seen AHL time with Tucson and Hartford while skating in the ECHL with Idaho, Greenville, Atlanta and Maine.
