Americans add three rookies

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announced that the team has signed three players from the Western Hockey League.

Jackson Leppard joins the team after a five-year career in the WHL with Prince George and Winnipeg. A native of North Vancouver, British Columbia, he totaled 115 points (49g-66a) in 252 career games with the two teams.

D-Jay Jerome split time between Lethbridge and Swift Current from 2016-20. The 21-year-old recorded 105 points (49g-56a) in 233 career games.

Dawson Butt joins the Americans after playing three seasons with the Everett Silvertips from 2017-20 where he had 39 points (19g-20a) in 155 career games.
