Brady agrees to terms with Steelheads

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads have signed defenseman Darren Brady to a contract for the 2021-22 season.Brady spent a majority of his first professional season in 2020-21 with the Rapid City Rush, posting two assists and 12 penalty minutes in 36 games. He also earned two assists in eight games with the Southern Professional Hockey League's Macon Mayhem. The 25-year-old ha signed with the Steelheads last off-season, prior to the team opting out of the 2020-21 season.Prior to his professional career, Brady played four seasons with Rochester Institute of Technology from 2016-20, tallying 36 points (10g-26a) in 135 collegiate games while serving as captain during his senior season.
