Cyclones bring back Coughlin

Cyclones bring back Coughlin

Cincinnati, Ohio -  The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced that defenseman Johnny Coughlin has signed with the team for the 2021-22 season.

The fourth-year pro has played all 92 of his pro games in the ECHL, spending time with Maine, Norfolk and Rapid City, in addition to the Cylcones, totaling 28 points (13g-15a). He spent last season with Rapid City, taylling five points (2g-3a) in 26 games.

Coughlin first came to the Cyclones as part of a five-player trade with the Norfolk Admirals in February of 2020, scoring two goals in nine games with Cincinnati.

Coughlin played his college hockey at Holy Cross, where he served as an alternate captain during his senior year.
