Eick joins Fuel

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks and the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs, announced that they have signed forward CJ Eick to a contract for the 2021-22 season.

Eick signs with the Fuel after spending the last three seasons with the Kansas City Mavericks. Entering his sixth pro season, the 29-year-old has 314 ECHL games under his belt tallying 81 points (34g-47a). Skating in 48 games for the Mavericks during the 2020-21 campaign, Eick registered eight points (2g-6a). 

Prior to turning pro, Eick played four seasons at Michigan Tech. Over four years with the Huskies, Eick appeared 145 contests earning 52 points (14g-38a) and a +25 rating.
