Leef joins Americans

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans announced that the team has added forward Jackson Leef to the 2021-22 oster.

Leef enters his sixth season of professional hockey. He began his rookie campaign in 2016-17 in the Southern Professional Hockey League, playing 11 games Knoxville and Peoria. The next season he played in three different leagues, spending the majority of the season in the ECHL with Brampton, while also skating with Evansville of the SPHL and Laval of the American Hockey League.   

The native of Fort Wayne, Indiana played for his hometown Komets last season, recording 14 points (6g-8a) in 36 regular-season games and adding two points (1g-1a) in four playoff contests.

Leef has totaled 96 points (41g-55a) in 202 career ECHL games.
