McBride inks deal with Steelheads

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads have signed forward Shawn McBride to a contract for the 2021-22 season.McBride last played during the 2019-20 season, splitting time between the Norfolk Admirals and the American Hockey League's Hartford Wolf Pack, earning a combined 13 points (2g-11a) in 53 games with the two clubs. The Victoria, British Columbia native made his professional debut with Hartford on April 6, 2019.Prior to his professional career, McBride played four seasons at American International College from 2015-19, boasting 61 points (19g-42a) in 151 games. He was named captain during his senior season when he posted a career-high 23 points (4g-19a) and helped AIC cpature the first Atlantic Hockey Association championship in program history.
