Royals re-sign Ebbing, add Cooper

READING, Pa. - The Reading Royals, ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced the signings of forwards Thomas Ebbing and Grant Cooper for the 2021-22 season.Ebbing returns to the Royals after playing for the club in the 2019-20 season, recording 27 points (12g-15a) in 46 games. During a productive 2018-19 season, he posted 29 points in 55 games with Greenville, and also skated in six American Hockey League games with Laval.The 26-year-old forward played for Michigan State University from 2013-17, putting up 55 points in 143 games. Cooper, a 25-year-old winger, comes to the Royals after a four-year college career with Clarkson University. He recorded 31 points in 77 collegiate games, and in 2019, he won the ECAC championship.
