Novak makes NHL debut

Former Florida Everblades' forward Tommy Novak became the 701st former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Nashville Predators on Tuesday against Los Angeles.

Novak is the third former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season. He posted three points (1g-2a) in three games with the Everblades during the 2020-21 season.

A third-round selection (85th overall) of the Predators in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Novak has totaled 78 points (19g-59a) in 91 career American Hockey League games with Milwaukee and Chicago.
