Huska makes NHL debut

Former Maine Mariners' goaltender Adam Huska became the 710th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the New York Rangers on Wednesday against Colorado.

Huska is the 12th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season. He went 1-2-0 with a 2.04 goals-against average and a save percentage of .943 in three appearances with the Mariners during the 2019-20 season.

A seventh-round selection (184th overall) of the Rangers in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Huska has appeared in 56 career games with Hartford of the American Hockey League where he is 23-20-9 with a 2.93 goals-against average and a save percentage of .896.
