Prow makes NHL debut

Prow makes NHL debut

Former Wheeling Nailers' defenseman Ethan Prow became the 712th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday against New Jersey.

Prow is the 14th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season. He skated in four games with the Nailers during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, compiling two assists.

A native of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, Prow has recorded 130 points (35g-95a) in 243 career games in the American Hockey League with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Springfield and Rochester.
