Bulmer inks deal with Komets

Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Fort Wayne Komets have signed veteran forward Brett Bulmer for the 2022-23 season. 

Bulmer was selected in the second round (39th overall) of the 2010 NHL entry draft by the Minnesota Wild and made his NHL debut on Oct. 8, 2011. The 30-year-old has skated in 17 NHL games and 203 contests in the American Hockey League. The Prince George, British Columbia, native played one season (2017-18) in the ECHL with Florida, taylling 42 points (23g-19a) in 70 regular-season games and adding 13 points (6g-7a) in 20 postseasons contests as the Everblades reached the Kelly Cup Finals.

Bulmer has spent the last three seasons in Europe. Last season, he netted 89 points (36g-53a) in 44 games for the Tilburg Trappers of the German Oberliga.
